Back to Basics Christian Living offers a teaching series that aims to help Christians develop the mindset and skillset to become strong and powerful disciples of Jesus Christ. The two-part series starts with the Christian Foundation, which focuses on rebuilding or building the right foundation from the start of your Christian journey. The second part, Christian Living, teaches you how to live your life as a Christian. These teachings cover important topics such as the authority of God's word, recognizing rebellion in your walk, and being doers of the word, not hearers only.

According to Back to Basics Christian Living, there are many classes and seminars that teach you what to do, but very few teach you how to live your life as a Christian today. This teaching series is designed to provide Christians with the foundational understanding they need to build a strong relationship with God and navigate their daily lives as Christians.

Part One -Your Foundation, the Forward starts with Ephesians 1:15-23, where the reason for this teaching series is explained. The Introduction is based on Acts 4:11-12, emphasizing that Jesus Christ is the foundation upon which we must build. Chapter One is based on 2 Timothy 2:15, which stresses the authority of God's word and how to use the Bible and apply God's word in your walk. Chapter Two is based on Ephesians 4:1, which talks about hearing and responsibility. Chapter Three is based on Proverbs 3:5-7, which highlights obedience versus rebellion. Chapter Four is based on 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, which warns about which Jesus to follow.

Part Two - Christian living, starts with a recap of the warning and answer from Part One in 2 Corinthians 11:3-4. The Introduction is based on Philippians 3:13-14, which asks what being a Christian means to you. Chapter One is based on Romans 10:17, which stresses the importance of being doers and not hearers only. Chapter Two is based on Philippians 4:13, which talks about finding strength within. Chapter Three is based on Romans 12:1-2, which discusses living for Him and sacrificing yourself for the Lord. Chapter Four is based on Ephesians 6:12, which emphasizes the spirit-led life.

 "10 Years Later, why?" is a story of perseverance and faith about Dave and Elaine's idea for a Christian camping retreat called "Back to Basics: Christian Living." Despite setbacks, they continued to see references to the idea over the years and eventually developed it into a two-part teaching series. In 2020, they realized the need for the message and are now using their website as a digital hub for "Back to Basics: Christian Living."
