In this episode, I welcome horror host, performer, and musician Blair Scares! Blair shares how her love of horror led her to create a show of her own, with inspiration from Elvira and some unforgettable encouragement from Dee Wallace along the way. We chat about bringing her character to life, creating her own music, and finding a home in the horror community before getting into her favorite scary movies and my signature question: "Why do you love horror?"

Of course, Blair and I get distracted, from her bizarre cow audition to the Happy Sac Kickstarter video where I acted in my underwear in a cold garage just to fund my first podcast. We also question the childhood double feature of "Dream Warriors" and "Cinderella," and learn that describing someone dying naked in the woods does absolutely nothing to narrow down which "Friday the 13th" movie we're discussing.

Be sure to follow Blair Scares on all her social media pages, and enjoy her amazing horror art. So visit her pages and let her know how you liked the episode!
