We are presenting to some and introducing to others, our good friend and sister, Ms. Ashlee Washington-King ⭐️ Ashlee most recently just earned her Masters Degree in Differentiated Instruction with a Concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorder 👩🏽‍🎓 She says that her graduate degree was chosen because she wanted to learn how to better adapt to each student she comes across, which in return would better her as an educator for her classroom. We get into the conversation of how tough parents of today’s students can make things be, being in denial to some of the things teachers observe day to day in their classroom. Not only do we talk about Ashlee and her educator experience, but we pay homage to her mother, Ms. Diane 🕊️ … who definitely left a legacy here in the community that Ashlee continues to live out everyday.     This young lady definitely knows a few things about barbering, as she is the founder of a unique event called “The Annual Barber Battle”. In today’s episode, we talk about the history behind the event and how it has been curated to help barbers get maximum exposure in the community to better their skills, and their professional development. We are excited to bring to the platform, Mississippi native Ms. Tiffanny Hicks ✌🏽


    Ms. Tiffanny comes to our show today and vents about forgiveness. There are so many dynamics to this … but we get into how unhealthy it can be holding on to the past that you cannot change. Tiffanny has had her shared experiences of having to forgive, and tells us that her foundation in Christ has been what’s helped her most. Ms. Tiffanny is a mother of 3, as well as a grandmother, and takes true pride in her babies. THE THEME OF THIS MONTH: MENTAL HEALTH & ME ‼️A native of the city, a mother, but she emphasizes first that she is a child of God above anything else. This young lady on our show is also a music artist. If you stay tuned in today’s episode, we have one of her hit singles that you will hear directly on the show. Presenting to some and introducing to others, our good friend and sister Destiné Perkins. ✌🏽 Destiné comes to the show today to vent about a lot of things she’s experienced within her spiritual transition. Earlier in the show, we talk about all the dynamics associated with the unfortunate death of her child’s father, the infamous and well-respected DJ in our city, Malik Khayyam. 🕊️ For the first time, Destiné admits to a lot of mental struggles she faced not only hearing the tragic news, but also hearing more things about him even after his passing. Nonetheless, a beautiful baby girl 🌺 was the result of what others may perceive as a bad situation. Destiné talks about her daughter truly being her saving grace, and has helped her along her journey of turning from the world, and leaning more into Jesus and her faith. She attests to the fact that even before she knew God, He was in the midst to show Himself true even when she wasn’t following Him with intention. We all make mistakes, but Destiné assures us that her new walk is far more calculated than her old walk.
