Season 20, Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County gives us a preventative scan, a penthouse confession, a Persian party with cowboy hats, and a launch party packed with OGs. Behavioral analyst Elle Schwartz breaks it all down, scene by scene.

Vicki wants her laptop at Tamra's scan and meets every bit of feedback with deny, deflect, displace. Then her own results arrive, and a lifetime of health scares casts her fear in a new light. Heather opens up to Terry about a childhood short on warmth, and Fancy Pants starts to look like armor. Terry steps up for his 92 year old mother. Emily and Shane feel like a marriage on the brink, and the after show reveals why: two parents reading their son's needs in opposite ways.

Carmella offers Jen a shot at financial independence, and Gina turns it into a real estate scoreboard. We check the receipts on who has the longer résumé. Tamra stacks her party with original Housewives, Alexis and John walk in, and Shannon swears three times that she doesn't care.

Plus: fake versus feckless, the brain damage smash cut, and the question Elle wants you to sit with. What unfinished business from childhood did you bring into your marriage?
