  • Biblical balance : What is the balance for life and how much should you actually work? What does the Bible say about work/life balance? In this particular episode we want to discuss how much you should actually work and how much of your life should you actually enjoy. 1. Is work affecting you home life? Am I actually a good husband?(Colossians 3:19) Am I a good dad?(Ephesians 6:4)(Proverbs 1:8) Am I giving my body the proper rest and training it deserves and was intended to get? (Psalms 127:2) 2. Is my work life affecting me attending church? Am I unable to live out my God given purpose due to my work life? (Ecclesiastes 2:16-17) (Colossians 3:23-24) 3. Am I using my job as a crutch or an excuse to fall short at home or for the kingdom of God? 4. When should I consider finding a new job? At what point do I decide to trust in God more than a paycheck? (Proverbs 3:5-6) We are going to use scripture and personal opinions along with actual data to come to a conclusion for each of these questions. Hopefully together we can find the answers that God has given us and can make a Godly decision with the next step of our lives.
