One of the stingiest defenses in the NFL will try to turn Kirk Cousins into his primetime self and limit Justin Jefferson's explosive plays. Mother Nature is not messing around in Florida and because of that, we might get something different with the Chiefs and Bucs. A game will be played, but the venue could be swapped out. Tom Brady is doing what he can with a limited wide receiver unit, but Patrick Mahomes appears to be just fine. We can look over the upset loss at Indy last week, but back-to-back losses here would be a concern for Andy Reid. Lamar Jackson is pushing Josh Allen for the MVP race (sorry Tua). These two signal callers will get together in Baltimore in a matchup that could prove to look liked a Big 12 game. Thursday night football is going to be a helluva spectacle. Joe Burrow and the Bengals have gotten out of the gate slowly, while Miami has cranked things up. Tua has been out of this world to start and now one wonders when he will come crashing back to earth. With Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the outside, Tua's production doesn't look like it will slow any time soon. Matt Ryan beat the Chiefs but past the surface you will find reality. Jags trash the Chargers but clearly Los Angeles was decimated by injury. Josh Allen's inability to get touchdowns inside the red zone is now a thing. Meanwhile Lamar Jackson is going over the top on everyone this season. His defense might not be much to look at but Jackson is playing like a dude negotiating his own future contract. Justin Fields can't get right, but Chicago is defying the odds with winning record despite dreadful play. San Francisco and Denver played a smash mouth football Sunday night and even though their offense doesn't look like anything to write home about, Russell Wilson has rebounded after a troubling Week 1 loss in Seattle. The Raiders are winless and meetings between coach and ownership have taken place. Tennessee and the Bengals finally got on the board with their first wins of the season. With all that being said, are the Philadelphia Eagles impressive or are they a product of weak schedule NFC schedule. Monday night had a double dip and unfortunately the fellas peeled a few things back with a rather disgusting stench from each affair. Moving forward though we have a suitable matchup in Tampa between Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. The two future hall of fame QB's will be at the center of attention, but their defenses are expected to shine the brightest. The question here is, who commits the costly turnover? Kirk Cousins is away from primetime ball so is it safe to assume he throws for 530 yards and 6 TD's against Detroit? Maybe, maybe not. What we do know so far is Detroit's offense has the skill to match point for point. The beat goes on for Josh Allen and the Bills as their high flying offense and relentless pass rush goes to humid Miami to battle with the Dolphins. Does Tua prove to have a second act in place in front of Von Miller? Jimmy G stays put and it could potentially bail out the 49ers in the long term. SF is in Denver to play Denver, a team laboring in the red zone and still trying to figure out how to manage a clock. Will the Browns redeem themselves against Pittsburgh in a Thursday night special after their horrific home collapse versus the Jets? Time will tell, but let's home so...especially for the dawg pound.
