Welcome to Parsha in Plain English.
Thank you so much for being here. This week we begin the annual Torah reading cycle with Parshat Bereshit. Genesis chapter 1, verse 1, through chapter 6, verse 8. In this parsha we read of the beginning: the heavens and the earth spoken into being, the Garden of Eden, the first family, the long line of generations, and a world that turns toward wickedness—and of Noah, who found favor.
If this reading belonged in your week, like and subscribe, and leave a rating or a review wherever you hear us—Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Amazon Music, etc. —and send us to someone who may want to begin the reading cycle too. We will continue our annual Torah reading cycle next week with Parshat Noach. Please join us.
