What if the thing you've been calling a discipline problem is actually depletion?
In this episode of The Singer's Path Podcast, Sarah Bishop gets honest about her own experience with burnout, creative recovery, and intentionally stepping away from her business and social media while performing in regional theater. She explores the pressure artists face to constantly create, post, audition, promote, and "stay consistent", and why that relentless output can eventually drain the very creativity that makes your work magnetic in the first place.
Sarah challenges the idea that sustainable consistency means producing constantly. Instead, she explores the different seasons of creative work, producing, promoting, experimenting, absorbing (and recovering), and why creating enough space to listen to your body, your intuition, and your creativity is essential to knowing what you actually need.
This episode is for the artist who's been pushing harder and wondering why the joy has disappeared.
