    Today is the 100th World Mission Sunday. In the gospel Jesus refers to all humanity being made in the image of God. This is the foundation of our unity, what spurs us to charity and places upon us the task of mission. The sacraments sustain us in all we do.

    The parable of this Sunday is the workers hired at different hours of the day and set to work in the vineyard. All are paid the same wage no matter how many hours they worked. This is a parable to teach us about the generous compassion of God. How fortunate we are!

    The story of Bl. Imelda Lambertini is amazing, and she focuses our attention on the divine love present in the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Communion.
