Genesis 17:1-18:15

Nearly twenty-five years have passed since God first called Abram. The promised child has not come, and every natural possibility has disappeared.

Then God appears with a name Abram has never heard before: God Almighty.

In Unbelievable!, we follow Abram and Sarai through years of waiting as God renews His covenant and speaks into what age and circumstance have made impossible. This is a story about a promise beyond human strength, the God who is never hurried, and a question that needs no answer!

After the battlefield falls silent, the LORD speaks to Abram in a vision.

Abram sees only his age, Sarai’s barrenness and a promise that appears impossible. God directs his attention beyond those circumstances—to a sky filled with more stars than he could ever count.

As the LORD reveals generations yet to come, human impatience leads Abram and Sarai toward a plan of their own. In the wilderness, an Egyptian slave woman discovers that the God who knows every star also sees her, hears her and calls her by name.

Four kings have swept through the region, overcoming every people in their path. When Lot is carried away with the people and possessions of Sodom, Abram gathers the trained servants of his household and sets out in pursuit.

Genesis 12:10 - 13:18

A severe famine drives Abram from the land of promise and into Egypt, where fear shapes his choices and places Sarai in danger. Later, prosperity brings a different kind of trouble as Abram and Lot discover that the land cannot support them both.

In Every Direction, Genesis 12:10–13:18 carries us through famine, fear, conflict, and separation. Along the way, visible circumstances seem to threaten what the LORD has spoken. Yet beyond everything Abram and Lot can see, the promise remains secure in the faithfulness of God.

Genesis 11:10 - 12:9

The generations after the Flood move quietly from father to son, carrying memories of judgment, mercy, and the faithfulness of God.

Then the account narrows to one household.

A father dies before reaching his destination.
A wife cannot bear a child.
