It was like we knew us forever, even if it was the first time we talked with each other.

We found out that Barry was the first IGEL Customer in Canada, has a two digit member number in our IGEL Community and great stories to tell.

We are back after a short holiday break and today we are welcome Evelio Garcia.

Evelio worked a long time for Citrix and is a known face in our EUC family and also our Community, after he was affected on layoffs he was looking for the next step and found it as Sales Engineer for IGEL projects at Lenovo, utilizing his virtualization skills and his great empathy he is helping to expand our partnership and business.

Evelio and I talked about our early career days, how he handled the challenging situation at the end of his time at Citrix, the great chances he found in the job with Lenovo and how his network and the community approach helped him to get there.
The great announcement that Lenovo is IGEL OEM partner now and a lot more.

René Recker is a committed and motivated professional with a degree in IT business consulting and more than 15 years of hands-on experience in managing, planning, and implementing solutions in the EUC space.

At IGEL Technology, René was responsible for the rebuild of the EMEA Presales Team, which had a crucial impact on supporting the sales department to grow the business with a passionate customer-first approach.

In 2019, René was part of the initial leadership team of the newly created CX Department and responsible for building the professional services business in EMEA from scratch. Over the upcoming 4 years, he built a passionate team that delivered the highest customer satisfaction approach to the IGEL customer base.

Since 2023, René has put all his heart and passion into the IGEL Community, where he has grown the community from 9000 to 12000 members, implemented new formats, and led the VIP Programme with 45 experts as an Evangelist.
