    Actor Michael Cyril Creighton steps out of Arconia to head downtown to The New Groups new home at the Theater at St Clements to star in the new adaptation of The Adding Machine. Michael shares the stage with Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jennifer Tilly and Sarita Choudhury. This 100 year old play is surprisingly timely and Michael discusses what it’s like playing over a dozen characters. Michael also discusses working on streaming favorites Only Murders in the Building and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Michael Cyril Creighton is best known for playing Howard Morris on Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.” A SAG Award winner, his TV credits include "Dexter: New Blood,” “A League of Their Own,” “High Maintenance,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “30 Rock,” and the final season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” His film work includes the Academy Award–winning Spotlight, American Fiction, The Post, and Game Night. Ana Gasteyer is an Emmy award winning actress, comedian, singer, writer, and producer whose work spans Broadway, television, film, and music. A beloved cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2002, Ana created some of the show's most iconic characters — Bobbie Mohan-Culp, NPR's Delicious Dish, Martha Stewart — and recently brought them back to life as a standout presence in both SNL50: The Anniversary Special and SNL50: The Homecoming Concert. On Broadway, Ana is currently starring in Schmigadoon!, opening Spring 2026. Her additional Broadway credits include Wicked (as Elphaba), Once Upon a Mattress, Rocky Horror, The Royal Family, and The Threepenny Opera. She originated the role of Debra in Kimberly Akimbo at Manhattan Theatre Club, and recently played Aunt Eller in the acclaimed concert production of Oklahoma! at Carnegie Hall. Further stage credits include Funny Girl, Passion at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, A New Brain at Encores! Off-Center, and Miss Hannigan in Annie at the Hollywood Bowl. On television, Ana starred in the critically acclaimed NBC comedy American Auto and can be seen in Loot, The Goldbergs, Lady Dynamite, People of Earth, Suburgatory, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Good Wife, and Girls. She wrote and executive produced A Clüsterfünke Christmas for Comedy Central alongside Rachel Dratch, starred in two live Fox musicals (Grease Live! and A Christmas Story Live!), and wowed audiences on The Masked Singer as "Tree." On film, Ana can be seen in Mean Girls, Happiest Season, Wine Country, What Women Want, The Women, Robot & Frank, and Doin' It, with the upcoming Never Change and You Deserve Each Other on the way. Ana is also a celebrated jazz vocalist and songwriter. Every holiday season she delights fans nationwide with her cheeky Sugar & Booze holiday tour. The retro-inspired album reached the Billboard Jazz Top 5 and was called "an uproarious homage to Christmas albums of old" by Billboard. The music inspired an eight-episode Audible series featuring Maya Rudolph, Patti LuPone, and Rachel Dratch. Her first album, I'm Hip, was released in 2014, and her performances at New York's iconic Café Carlyle have earned praise from The New York Times, which hailed her "strong singing voice that can stir up a storm." Bess talks about creating a team of artists to help transport the audience back to the 70s and what a joy it was to watch Whitney White, David Zinn, Qween Jean, and Nikya Mathis create poetry. Also in this episode - Eila & Bruce review Schmigadoon! Bess Wohl is a playwright and filmmaker whose plays have been produced on and off Broadway, regionally and internationally. Wohl’s plays include Grand Horizons (Broadway, Tony Nomination), Camp Siegfried, Make Believe, Continuity, Small Mouth Sounds, American Hero, Touch(ed), In, Cats Talk Back, and the musical Pretty Filthy. Her plays have been recognized with a variety of awards and nominations, including the Drama Desk, Drama League, Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle. She made her feature film debut with her film Baby Ruby, starring Noémie Merlant and Kit Harington, which she wrote and directed. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto Film Festival and was released by Magnolia Pictures in 2023. She also is developing multiple television projects and wrote for the Apple TV+ series “Extrapolations.” Wohl is an associate artist with The Civilians, an alumna of Ars Nova’s Play Group, and the recipient of new play commissions from Manhattan Theatre Club, Lincoln Center and Williamstown Theatre Festival. Recently, she made her West End debut with a sold out run of Barcelona starring Lily Collins. She is a graduate of Harvard and the Yale School of Drama.
