Show Notes: Before You Say a Word: Preparing for a Difficult Conversation
Thank you for joining this episode of the Very Nonprofit – Very Real Podcast. I'm Canadian nonprofit educator, best-selling author and leadership coach, Paula J. Maclean.
Today’s episode focuses on the three steps you need to follow to plan for a “courageous” (or difficult) conversation.
While “getting ready” may seem kind of obvious, in this episode well explore the How, Where, When and Who of setting yourself up for success before you even have a meeting set with another person. We also talk about how to invite someone to a conversation and how to become more confident by doing some practice before you get started.
Enjoy the episode and make sure you don’t miss the third and final episode in the series which covers the exact steps and some scripts for making your next conversation a total success.
Join me every week as we lift-up both your skills and your spirits on your nonprofit leadership journey. Together we will explore everything you need to know to successfully lead the people side of your nonprofit.
