  • Meet Our Husbands! (Season Finale)
    2026/09/07

Yes, we are actually married! If you've listened to us over the course of the season, you might have wondered. But all joking aside, we wanted to talk to the people who deal with perimenopause almost as much as we do on a daily basis, and get their feedback on what they think is helping us, how our podcast has benefited us and others, and ask their advice for other partners in this situation.

We also had a bit of brain fog and forgot to actually introduce them at the beginning. DERP. We mention their names later on, but please meet Matthew (Tammy) and Chris (Danielle).

We have loved doing this podcast and we hope you have enjoyed it as well, and maybe learned something? We are already hard at work on season two, which includes sorting out our lingering tech issues, setting up lots of interviews, and hosting a few giveaways! Be sure to follow us on Instagram and YouTube in the meantime for updates. Cheers!

Tammy is drinking a Kellerbier from Hacker-Pschorr and Matthew has a White Bronco from Sandwich Brewing Co.

Danielle and Chris are drinking Michelob Ultra Zero.

  • Dani and Tammy Get Some Help
    2026/08/23

In this episode we talk about what led us to look into non-traditional methods for getting perimenopause help, what we're taking, and if it has helped at all. Danielle used Midi Health in the US and Tammy used Felix Health in Canada. Both were positive experiences! Let us know if you have questions about either one, or you have tried one yourself and want to share your experience.

Tammy is drinking a Pineapple Coconut Soursop Gelato Sour Collab from Fine Balance Brewing, Cookie Bar, and Zule Eats, as well as a Shore Krush Tropical IPA from Side Launch Brewing.

Danielle is drinking Asahi Super Dry.

  • Is it Ablated? Ablazed?
    2026/08/09

In this episode, Tammy is giving a review of the perimenopause seminar she attended at the Estate of Health in Kingsville, ON. It was led by a naturopathic doctor, so some info was interesting and helpful, and some, not so much.

But more importantly, we're in the same country for this episode! Danielle came over to Canada for the day and we recorded this episode where Tammy works; Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery right on the shores of Lake Erie. It was a beautiful day and we sat by the vineyard and had wine, and then walked down to the beach and collected beach glass.

Danielle is drinking Cabernet Sauvignon from Sprucewood Shores, and Tammy is drinking Sauvignon Blanc.

  • Balance Docuseries Eps 4 - No F*cks Left to Give
    2026/07/26

We're finishing up our Balance Docuseries journey, and this was a bit sad for us because we enjoyed it so much. It was a great way to wrap it up and tie everything together, so we hope that you enjoyed the docuseries too, or at least enjoyed listening to us talk about it. :)

Since we've both had a drink-heavy couple of weeks, we both decided to do some sparkling water for this episode because we needed a bit of a break.

Tammy is drinking a Peach Bubly.

Danielle is drinking a Lemon Spindrift.

  • Balance Docuseries Eps 3 - No One is Coming to Save Us
    2026/07/05

We're continuing our Balance journey, and this was an especially great episode of the docuseries. We also decided to partake in a few beers each this epsiode, because it was hot out and why not, so this Beerimenopause episode is sliiiiiightly longer than normal.

We also talk about being ignored at the doctor, and how frustrating and detrimental to our health that is. We have to fight for ourselves, because as Siddhali Shree says, no one is coming to save us.

Tammy is drinking a Pinot Grigio mixed ferm pale ale with mango, from her very own kitchen.

Danielle is drinking Gulls Gone Wild NEIPA from Swells'a Brewing in Kill Devil Hills, NC.

  • Balance Docuseries Eps 1 - Why Is My Body Becoming an Enemy to Me?
    2026/06/07

This is the first of our four part discussion reviewing the Balance Documentary series on Amazon. And, WOW, it is SO worth the watch! Balance is a project from female Jain monks Sadhvi Siddhali Shree and Sadhvi Anubhuti. They are nearing their forties and realizing that something is changing, but they've never heard of perimenopause before! They travel across the US to interview physicians, specialists, celebrities, and family members to try and unravel this peri mystery. Their goal is to educate other women about this major life event, make sure we're using facts to make informed decisions about our healthcare, and hopefully get some relief for themselves.

Note: It appears that this documentary cannot be purchased on Amazon from Canada. Tammy tried going through the US Amazon website, and using a US credit card, but it would not allow her to proceed based on her location. If you are not located in the United States, check the Balance website at https://balancedocuseries.com/ to find alternative streaming options.

Danielle is drinking Ripe Pursuit, an NA Lemon Radler from Athletic Brewing Company.

Tammy is drinking Abbott Ale from Greene King Brewing.

  • Feeling Feminine in the Workplace
    2026/05/24

In this episode, we're talking about feeling feminine in the workplace, especially when your job requires a lot of physical labor. What is the point? Is there a point? What do we do and wear to feel "feminine"? But along those lines, why does women's workwear really suck? Is there a double standard between how men and women in the fermented beverage industry look while doing their job, and do women need to worry about unwanted attention from men? Also creepy creepers and feel-good compliments from other ladies.

Danielle is drinking an NA Grapefruit Radler from Clausthaler.

Tammy is drinking a Kellerbier from Hacker-Pschorr.
