    Most popular wellness advice has been based on studies done primarily on men- whose bodies naturally follow a 24-hour biological rhythm. Their hormones rise and fall predictably from morning to night, and that same rhythm resets each day.

    Women, on the other hand, operate on a ~ 28-day hormonal cycle that can be broken into 4 different phases, each with unique hormonal shifts, energy patterns, and needs.

    That means the best ways to eat, exercise, work, socialize- and pretty much do anything- changes throughout the month depending on where we are in our cycle.

    At first, this may seem like a burden, but I’m here to show you that it's actually an incredible gift.

    When we honor each phase of our cycle, it’s like unlocking hidden superpowers that we might otherwise miss out on.

    I used to rely on over-the-counter medications for every ache, pain, or issue with my body because it was all I knew. But over time, I noticed that certain medications stopped working, some caused side effects that created new problems, and overall, my body just felt worse.

    While modern medicine and OTCs are invaluable for emergencies or conditions that can’t be solved naturally, they’re often not necessary when we learn how to lean on natural remedies.

    Natural remedies typically come with little to no side effects AND they often support the body in multiple ways while providing relief.

    We’ve been disempowered in how we respond to our body’s signals. Symptoms are messages from the body, yet instead of addressing the root cause, we’re taught to reach for quick-fix “band-aids” like medications, pharmaceuticals, or even surgery… sometimes for issues that could be resolved naturally.

    This entire series is about healing from the root, so following the holistic steps I’ve shared will naturally reduce symptoms over time. But there are also targeted natural remedies (like herbs and simple daily practices) that can bring quicker relief when needed!

    When I was struggling with my own health issues, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Suddenly, everything we used or consumed felt like a potential threat. My small shifts toward a healthier lifestyle turned into a complete overhaul.

    I was desperate to heal, and my mom was determined to beat cancer. And we did. A huge part of that journey was rethinking everything we brought into our home and used on our bodies- from deodorant to cleaning supplies to the air we breathed.

    I realized that it wasn’t just about food. Just like the food industry, other big industries prioritize profit over health- using the cheapest, often synthetic, ingredients. But the truth is that there are many alternatives! This episode shares how to make shifts to safer products with suggestions to make it all easier!
