  • ANOTHER PARENT JOINS THE CLUB NO PARENT EVER WANTS TO BELONG TO
    2026/09/02

Today’s hearing on sanctuary cities brought the issue of illegal immigration and public safety back into focus.

And tonight, I keep thinking about the parents.

Every single day, another family can be changed forever. Another mother or father can become part of a club they never asked to join.

Not a club for getting together.
    Not a social club.

    A club of mourning parents.

Parents mourning children whose lives were taken.

We can argue about immigration policy. We can argue about sanctuary cities. We can argue about borders, enforcement, and politics.

But we should never lose sight of the human cost.

Every child matters. Every victim matters. Every grieving family matters.

And asking for secure borders and enforcement of our immigration laws should not be controversial.

It should be about one simple responsibility:

Protect the people who are already here.

Because no parent should ever have to bury a child because our government failed to do its job.

And tomorrow, I fear, another parent may join this club.

We need to stop accepting that as inevitable.

  • FLOCK CAMERAS: WHO IS WATCHING YOU? | 100,000+ Cameras, Lawsuits & the 4th Amendment
    2026/08/28

FLOCK CAMERAS: WHO IS WATCHING YOU?

I'm going to say something that may piss some people off:

I'm against Flock cameras—and I don't apologize for saying it.

This isn't just about one camera sitting on a pole in your neighborhood.

We're talking about a nationwide network of 100,000+ Flock cameras, operating across communities throughout America.

And now we're seeing lawsuits, privacy challenges, documented misuse and growing questions about the Fourth Amendment.

In this episode, we're going down the rabbit hole.

    🔎 WHAT WE COVER:

    • What exactly is Flock Safety?
    • What is an ALPR (Automated License Plate Reader)?
    • How big is the Flock network?
    • What information can these cameras collect?
    • Who can access the data?
    • How can information be shared across agencies?
    • Documented cases of Flock system misuse
    • The Florida officer accused of searching his estranged wife's vehicle 717 times
    • Police employees accused of improperly using Flock data
    • Lawsuits challenging ALPR surveillance
    • The Fourth Amendment and technology-generated location information
    • The Supreme Court's recent Chatrie v. United States decision
Have I Been Flocked? and publicly released Flock audit logs
    • Flock's response and new privacy safeguards
    • And the question I keep coming back to:

WHO IS WATCHING THE PEOPLE WHO ARE WATCHING US?

I'm not telling you what conclusion you have to reach.

I'm asking you to look at the facts, look at the technology, look at the lawsuits, look at the audit records—and then decide for yourself.

    Because public safety matters.

    But so does privacy.

And once surveillance infrastructure is everywhere...

How easy is it to take it back?

  • From Havana to the Ballot Box: How Ideas Travel.
    2026/08/05

Episode 19: From Havana to the Ballot Box – How Ideas Travel

    What can Cuba teach America?

As a Cuban refugee, I don't view history as something locked away in the past. I lived it. In this episode, I share my family's journey out of communist Cuba and explain why I believe understanding history is essential to protecting freedom.

We explore how Fidel Castro gained and maintained power not to celebrate his legacy, but to understand the role ideology, propaganda, education, and public opinion played in shaping a nation.

From there, we examine today's political landscape in the United States, including the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), progressive candidates in Wisconsin, Michigan, and New York, and the broader debate over how political ideas move from the margins into mainstream politics.

Whether you agree with my perspective or not, my goal is simple: encourage you to read original sources, question narratives, and think critically before making up your own mind.

History doesn't belong to one political party. It belongs to all of us. And understanding our past may be one of the best ways to protect our future.

    Topics discussed:

    • My family's escape from communist Cuba
    • Fidel Castro's ideology and political strategy
    • Propaganda, education, and public opinion
    • Why military force alone cannot create democracy
    • Cuba's continued geopolitical significance
    • The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)
    • Progressive politics in Wisconsin, Michigan, and New York
    • Why informed voters are the foundation of a healthy democracy

  • What Is the Fox River Hiding? The Untold Timeline of Illinois River Deaths.
    2026/07/30

What is the Fox River hiding?

In Episode 18 of The Fox River Files, I examine documented cases spanning decades along the Fox River in Illinois. This investigation follows verified public records, archived news reports, coroner findings, and law enforcement information to build a timeline of tragedies that affected families across our communities.

This episode includes the documented cases of:

    • Victor Marin
    • Amanda Flick
    • Destiny Neal
    • Ulises "Miguel" Segura Dorantes
    • Taylor Russell
    • Karen Schepers

This documentary is not intended to promote conspiracy theories or suggest these cases are connected. Every case is unique and deserves to be evaluated on its own facts. My goal is to preserve history, document verified information, and ask thoughtful questions while honoring the lives of those involved.

If you know of another documented Fox River case that should be researched, please leave a comment. Every submission will be independently verified before being included in a future episode.

  • I Escaped Communist Cuba. Then I Read the DSA's Website.
    2026/07/24

Who is the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and what do they actually believe?

As someone who escaped communist Cuba with my family in a small fiberglass boat, this isn't just another political discussion for me—it's personal.

Instead of relying on social media, television, or political commentators, I went directly to the DSA's own website, publications, platform, and official statements to understand what they stand for.

    In this episode, we'll examine:

    • Who the DSA is
    • Their own platform and stated goals
    • Their position on capitalism
    • Their statements about Cuba
    • Their views on immigration and ICE
    • Their nationwide growth and political influence
    • Why this matters to me as someone who lived under a communist government

My goal isn't to tell you what to think.

My goal is to encourage you to read the source material, ask questions, and make up your own mind.

  • While Chicago Bled, They Celebrated: The Obama Center Story.
    2026/06/24

EPISODE 16: THE OBAMA PRESIDENTIAL CENTER COMMUNITY INVESTMENT OR POLITICAL MONUMENT?

In this episode of Barbie Unfiltered67, we take a closer look at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center on Chicago's South Side.

While much of the media focused on the celebration, celebrity appearances, and political speeches, many residents were asking different questions.

    What happened to Jackson Park?

What about concerns over rising property values, taxes, and rents?

What about the subcontractors still fighting over disputed payments?

And why was Chicago dealing with another deadly weekend of violence while the political elite gathered to celebrate?

We also discuss the broader issues facing working-class America, including manufacturing job losses, globalization, student debt, and the promises many Americans feel were never fulfilled.

As always, this episode reflects my personal opinions and commentary and is intended to encourage discussion, debate, and independent research.
