Derrick Baker, Tennessee’s top 2027 quarterback commit, delivered a monster performance last Friday night, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for two as he led his Milton Eagles to a 42-21 win. Coming off an injury last season, Baker has sharpened his dual-threat game and credits his teammates for making him tougher to stop. He’s laser-focused on his senior year and commitment to Tennessee, already recruiting key teammates like Joshua Evans and Keelan Wonsley to join him at Rocky Top. His recent C1N event with Cam Newton gave him crucial mental tools—staying calm, dissecting defenses, and protecting himself—helping him become the leader and playmaker Tennessee desperately needs.
