If you're in LA, my solo show WHY ALL THE DRAMA is next week at Lyric Hyperion. Get your tix before they sell out!

Today's guest is the charming as hell Zachary Noah Piser, currently starring in MAYBE HAPPY ENDING, the six-time TONY Award-winning Broadway hit. We discuss being backstage with Idina Menzel during Redwood, DMs from boys after shows, and the anxiety that comes with being both Jewish and Chinese.

Subscribe for new episodes every week! (and go to Substack for Zach's extended ep where he talks about a very specific crush.)

In this episode, we also discuss:

-- our need to be liked

-- Redwood and KPOP's premature closings

-- how he responds to gay guy DMs

-- what Hapa means

-- his mom converting to Judaism (and being a better Jew than the rest of his fam)

-- finding out the Power Rangers are not actually real

-- his (beautifully random) bar mitzvah theme

-- singing Evan Hansen

-- Melissa McCarthy bloopers

Then on the extended ep, we discuss bedrotting and my conflicting feelings on Dear Evan Hansen, a role Zach played. Hear the full story on Substack.

Substack is for the Close Friends of the podcast, where we also discuss a gorgeous fan gift, Zach's Hollywood crush, and Zach responds to my Evan Hansen take. Watch here.
