  • (Pastor Dale Massengale) The Work Of The Ministry
    2025/10/02
    Pastor Dale Massengale, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches on Sunday evening, September 21, 2025.
    Ephesians 4:11-16 KJB: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
    12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
    13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
    14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
    15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
    16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

    3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

  • (The Late Brother Don Collins) We Need A Revival, Part Two
    2025/09/22
    The late Brother Don Collins, a prolific Radio and Revival preacher and Founder/long-time Pastor of the Friendly Chapel, Pilot Mountain, NC, preaches on a Sunday morning several years ago, there at Friendly Chapel.
    Jonah 1:1-3 and 3:1-5 KJB: 1 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
    2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
    3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
    1 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
    2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
    3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
    4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
    5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

    Here's something a little different, found on an old mixtape: the first few minutes of an edition of The Rock Of Ages Baptist Church Radio Broadcast of Reidsville, NC, as aired over AM 950, WPET, Greensboro, NC, on a Saturday morning back in early 1997. I know the announcements, song and just the look back in time, will be a blessing.

  • (Brother Keith Voyles) An Embarrassed Soldier
    2025/09/11
    Assistant Pastor Keith Voyles, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches on Wednesday evening, September 10, 2025.
    2 Timothy 2:1-4 KJB: 1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
    2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
    3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
    4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
    Ephesians 6:10-24 KJB: 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
    11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
    12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
    13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
    14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
    15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
    16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
    17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
    18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
    19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
    20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
    21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
    22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
    23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
    24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
