Worship, service, and generosity aren't programs or obligations — they're the three primary ways the world loses its grip on you. Every time you worship, you're affirming something the world constantly tries to undermine: that you are enough, not because of anything you've done, but because of what Christ has done for you. That shift — from "I have to earn my value" to "my value has already been declared" — produces a kind of security that no Tony Robbins tape and no amount of self-improvement can replicate. A man who actually believes that walks differently. He stops being defensive. He stops hiding. And something starts to change in how he leads.
Service gives you something just as essential: real-time feedback. The dental student who went to Honduras planning to be an oral surgeon came home planning to work with children — because you can't know what lights you up until you're doing something outside yourself that puts you in contact with it. If you're not serving somewhere, you're not just skipping a spiritual obligation — you're cheating yourself out of the most direct path to understanding why you're here.
Generosity does something no other discipline quite does: it breaks the pull of money. Jesus didn't say the main competition for your heart was the devil. He said it was mammon — riches, the pursuit of them, the fear of losing them. Generosity is the thing that loosens that grip. And in order to do all three, one thing has to happen first. You need a breakup song — a deliberate, final, binary break from the world's pattern. You can't live someone else's life and your own at the same time. Break up with one so you can fully live the other.

Discussion Questions
1. Of the three — worship, service, and generosity — which one is most missing from your life right now? What does that absence cost you?
2. Have you ever done something in service that turned out to be completely different from what you expected — and found something important in it? What happened?
3. What would your "breakup song" with the world actually sound like? What specifically would you be breaking up with, and what would you be choosing instead?
