Two school friends, a beatbox moment in the playground, and the start of something nobody saw coming.

Co-founders Kenrick "H2O" Sandy and Michael "Mikey J" Asante go back to where Boy Blue began. Ken explains why he walked away from basketball and goalkeeping for dance, and they remember the first ever Boy Blue rehearsal in Ilford and their first performance together (yellow army-surplus macs, a forgotten routine, and a chance meeting with two dancers who went on to form Flawless). They also tell the story of the Southbank day when 50 young dancers got off a coach and Mikey knew they had something.

Plus: Ken becoming a father while the company was still finding its feet, how Mikey's music and Ken's choreography talk to each other, and why the first five years were just different ways of cooking an egg!
