Bonus content! We'll be back with Season 7 in September, but in the meantime, we wanted to promote our sister podcast The Franchise Doctors hosted by Aaron Donogh & Rob Snow. Each season, they set out to fix an ailing franchise that has gone astray.

Their first season was on RoboCop and this season we have The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The episode you will be listening to today is episode 1 of season 2 on the 1974 original TCM film. If you like this, make sure you check out the rest of their show, because it is fantastic.

And if you enjoy what we're doing here at The Pit and would like to support us further, please go check out our Patreon where you can access our brand new Patreon-exclusive podcast: No5talgia!

That's right! An entire, brand new, Patreon exclusive podcast ONLY for our specialist supporters. Last week we broke down our top 5 first watches and this week we take on our top 5 chips!

Make sure you sign up for our live watch-a-longs happening every Tuesday throughout 2026 at The Theater Nostalgia! Every other Tuesday is Twin Peaks Tuesdays, mixed with classic films and cartoons. Free to sign up! Links in bio.
