Somehow our dynamic duo made the jump from Stranger Things catfishing to Liz's gospel choir experience in this episode. Not quite sure how that happened, but it turns out both Bob and Liz have had some experiences with religion that may just explain a thing or two about them. Hallelujah for that, am I right?

Elizabeth took a trip to the Outer Banks, which you'll get to hear all about in this episode! From awkward bike rides to being called out by a child for her somersault skills, the trip went about as well as you'd expect. After that, Bob chats about a recent experience seeing monster trucks, which, well... Throw Bob into a crowd of people in 'Murica cutoff shirts and loud trucks. I think you can imagine what may come next.

Bob had his chance to catch up on summer shenanigans, now it's Liz's turn, and boy does she have some stories. From getting a gym membership (ew) to getting ghosted and blocked by Instagram influencers, Liz's summer has turned out to be both awkward and very much unhinged.

Taylor, Bob's husband, joins Bob and Liz for what's officially the very first guest episode! It's... alright! Some may even call it acceptable! We discuss Bob and Taylor's recent beach trip, LASIK surgery, amusement park ride mishaps, and a whole lot of other things that truly do not make any sense at all being in an episode together. So, exactly what you'd expect.

Quick warning: we need to get our guest mic situation figured out, so the quality may not be as buttery smooth as you may have gotten used to. Sorry about that. There's also the matter of what seems like an army of cicadas singing the anthem of their people in the background; we didn't hear that while recording, but you sure can hear it in the episode. We're sorry for that too. Bear with us, dear listeners, as we awkwardly struggle through getting our act together. We'll get there.
