    Using the analogy of a ceiling fan, Barret illustrates how suffering persists through the habit of choosing to identify with ego thinking again and again. Each judgment, grievance, or desire to be a victim turns the switch back on, keeping the "fan" in motion. Healing is not a struggle, but a willingness to stop feeding the pattern — allowing the momentum to fade and peace to arise on its own.

    A conversation unfolds around the weight of expectations and the many ideas of how we believe we should be. Through honest sharing about people-pleasing and discernment, participants explore the courage required to follow inner guidance — including learning that sometimes the most loving response is a sincere and peaceful no.

    A helpful dialogue touches on following one’s calling despite family expectations; how a free and mystic Christian lives from inner listening and guidance rather than conformity. The Satsang points toward stepping beyond limiting relationship roles and familiar comfort zones, answering what Jenny Maria describes as the call that comes in a fortunate life — the call to be free from the cycle of bondage to a fixed identity.

    Jenny Maria shares Jesus' invitation in A Course in Miracles: that correction does not come through judgment, analysis, or pointing out mistakes, but by overlooking the ego altogether. We are led to see that reacting to error actually reinforces separation, while perceiving wholeness restores truth in the mind.

    Forgiveness is not an action, it is a state of mind. 🙏 As we learn to see sanity instead of insanity and truth instead of appearances, the mind is gently guided toward healing. Errors have no real effects when they are not made real, and true correction happens through seeing with the Holy Spirit, dissolving illusions without conflict.

    During the sharing, one participant expresses feelings of discouragement, admitting that she sometimes feels she has failed and wants to give up on awakening altogether. What begins as a confession of defeat, transforms into a shared moment of lightness, ending in laughing together at the ego’s dramatic conclusions. The laughter is a demonstration of the teaching itself — showing how illusions lose their power when they are seen without seriousness. In this beautiful exchange, the atmosphere shifts from self-judgment to relief, reminding everyone that awakening is not achieved through struggle, but through recognising the unreality of the ego.

    The session concludes with a peaceful reflection on Workbook Lesson 310, “In fearlessness and love I spend today.” Jenny Maria’s mindful and very present reading allows its words to be felt as a gentle invitation rather than an ideal to achieve. As we remember our innocence and welcome love as a present reality, the pressures of time fall away. Ending with gratitude and quiet contemplation, the session leaves us resting in a profound reassurance — reminding us that fear has no place when love is welcomed in.

    This ACIM Satsang begins with a meditation inviting the release of the small self and a return to rest in the Divine Source, beyond words and beyond perception. Drawing from The Undivided Will of the Sonship (Chapter 8, Section V of A Course in Miracles), the session explores the central theme of willingness — the doorway through which Spirit speaks. The voice of the Spirit, we are reminded, is as loud as our willingness to listen, for there is only one Will, not two.

    Jenny Maria points to the subtle ways the belief in separation appears in daily experience — as lethargy, resistance, laziness, irritation, or even rage — inviting us to recognize these not as weaknesses but as signals calling us to healing and restoration. Beneath all appearances, the Creator is always seeking us, endlessly calling us home — through a Love that will not cease.

    As the session comes to a close, the call becomes clear: to listen, to trust, and to gently yield the mind back to the One Will we share with God.
