  • Vehicle Technology Is Becoming a Brand Growth Engine: Inside the 2026 AutoTECHCAST Study
    2026/09/05
Full self-driving vehicles, in-car payment systems, and smart home ecosystem integration are among the innovations The Harris Poll identifies as part of the "next wave" in its 2026 AutoTECHCAST study, an annual survey of more than 10,000 U.S. consumers examining which automotive technologies are most likely to drive purchase decisions and brand loyalty. The 2026 findings also show how younger generations have placed increasing importance on technology over the past decade, citing it as a deciding factor in which make and model they choose, and why. Join AV Radio host Carl Anthony as he sorts through key data points from the 2026 AutoTECHCAST survey, comparing and contrasting the findings with his own experience of brand loyalty growing up in a small rural Iowa community in the 1990s. • Built to Be Driven ft. Stuart Wilson of Velocity Restorations
    2026/08/08
For U.S. Navy veteran Stuart Wilson, a difficult restoration project led him to create the process and client experience he wished existed in the first place. What began as a small garage operation, shaped by the problems Stuart ran into restoring his own Bronco, became Velocity Restorations, a company now operating from a 135,000-square-foot facility in Florida, building what's known as Re-Engineered Classics. AutoVision News Radio host Carl Anthony met with Stuart at The Henry, Autograph Collection in Dearborn, Michigan, where the two sat inside his personal truck, a Founder's Series International Scout, to talk shop. The two discuss the difference between a restomod and a Re-Engineered Classic, how the buyer base continues to evolve, and why Velocity-built vehicles are meant to be driven, enjoyed, and even passed down.
