Grief introduces a different challenge. Anger often creates an urge to act, defend, or confront. Grief can leave a man feeling powerless, disconnected, exhausted, or uncertain about who he is without the person, relationship, opportunity, or future he has lost. A man may grieve a parent's death, a failed marriage, a friendship that ended, a child he rarely sees, a business that collapsed, a career that defined him, or a version of himself he believed he would become. Not every loss receives public acknowledgment. Some men experience grief that others do not recognize as grief at all. They may be expected to return to work, pay the bills, lead their families, make decisions, and continue being dependable while privately trying to understand how their lives have changed. He may tell everyone that he is fine because he does not want to burden them. He may keep himself busy because stillness makes the loss harder to ignore. He may become irritable because sadness feels unfamiliar or because he does not know how to ask for comfort. Yet grief does not disappear simply because a man refuses to discuss it. It may emerge through isolation, exhaustion, emotional numbness, difficulty concentrating, or anger that seems unrelated to the present moment. Grief is not evidence that a man is weak. It is evidence that something mattered to him. Let’s talk about it.

  • Fork In The Road
    2026/10/04

In this life you have one choice and within that decision carries the weight of whether you take the path you are forced into or beat the odds and be who you are born to be. There is no right or wrong, but you can’t live with regrets. As life provides hard lessons from every angle it is on you to be fully comfortable with what you end up doing regardless. Although this is a big rich town, the fork in the road boils down to keeping your light and consciousness clear or turning to a life of darkness that will result in your head always having to be on a swivel. Which is more important…the instant gratification of the numbness or the satisfaction that the growing pains give you when the lesson is learned. This episode is about grit, mental shifts, and finding out if we truly give a shit. Let’s talk about it.
