Cobra Commander bought a theme park. What could possibly go wrong?

Dave, Noel, and Kristian return to the wild world of DiC’s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero for a lively review of “Cobra World”—an adventure packed with impossible stunts, cotton-candy weaponry, onion-powered tears, and enough cartoon chaos to keep the conversation rolling. Is this peak ridiculousness, an unexpected delight, or both?

Before heading into the park, the crew revisits Snake Eyes’ 1985 file card in Rank & Filecard, comparing it with his original profile and discussing Timber, the iconic visor, and connections to the comics. Plus, there’s talk of Super 7 ReAction+ figures, Classified collecting, rising prices, and rethinking preorders, along with a quick Operation: Recall vehicle update.

Join Audible Interlude for vintage Joe nostalgia, collecting talk, and a spirited trip through one truly outlandish cartoon. Follow the podcast, leave a review, and share the show with a fellow Joe fan!

The Audible Interlude crew dives into a flood of new G.I. Joe product, preorder roulette, rising figure prices, shipping mishaps, and one very spontaneous on-air Destro purchase. Then it’s all hands on deck for a Rank and File Card deep dive into Shipwreck, revealing just how skilled—and dangerous—G.I. Joe’s favorite sailor really is. Finally, “Goggle Logic” puts the franchise’s most necessary, ridiculous, and surprisingly defensible eyewear under the microscope, with stops at Snow Serpent, Low-Light, Desert Scorpion, Viper, Frostbite, and more. Plus: Polly theories, Toys “R” Us skepticism, Anthrax appreciation, and plenty of collector chaos.

The Audible Interlude crew dives into a packed slate of G.I. Joe news, reveals, and collector debates. Dave, Noel, and Kristian discuss the highs and frustrations of crowdfunding, react to Blokees’ Energon Universe-inspired Starscream and H.I.S.S. Tank mashup, preview the upcoming 3DJoes field guides, and celebrate the newly announced Dark Horse guide to the G.I. Joe Classified Series.

Then it’s time to break down the latest Classified reveals, including Night Force Sneak Peek, Daina, Flatline, Hardball, Shipwreck, HEAT Viper, and the G.I. Joe: The Movie retro lineup. The team weighs nostalgia against modern design, debates rising prices and preorder fatigue, and considers what makes a figure truly feel like G.I. Joe—or a Dreadnok. Plus: Kickstarter communication, Polly controversy, Billy Kessler, Ninja Force Storm Shadow, and the usual off-topic chaos that makes Audible Interlude the most fun you can have talking about G.I. Joe.
