Pigeon/Xiaobei, an American immigrant who has been living in Taiwan since 2017. She discussed her experiences as a foreign woman in Taiwan, including the challenges of dating, cultural integration, and the difficulty of finding appropriate clothing and shoes due to her tall stature. Pigeon explained her decision to call herself an "immigrant" rather than an "expat" to highlight the shared experiences of foreign residents in Taiwan. We also discussed her struggles with learning Mandarin Chinese, including poor experiences with certain language schools and the cultural barriers to deep friendships with local Taiwanese people. The conversation touched on the challenges of maintaining family relationships across international borders, particularly after losing her father while living in Taiwan.

*Disclaimer: We both love Taiwan so the things we said wasn't to attack anyone but to be honest of why we love and dislike.

*NTD: New Taiwan Dollar
