I asked AI to make a photo. At first glance, it was convincing. Look closer, and the cracks appear. In this episode of As I See It, I share why AI has its place in my work, in research, writing and sorting ideas, but why real photography is something it can't do. AI doesn't feel the cool air before sunrise. It doesn't wait for the fisherman to cast his net or the cloud to break. It guesses. After 40 years behind the camera, I believe photography isn't about capturing what's there. It's about recognising what's worth keeping. That instinct is lived, not downloaded, and what makes an image real isn't perfection. It's presence. See the work at petegeorge.com.au. See with purpose. Share with heart.#photography
