Welcome to our Artist Interview Series.
In this podcast, we feature interviews with the brightest musicians and music educators from around the world.
Our goal is to provide meaningful conversations and insights into their creative process. We'll discuss the inspiration behind their music while learning about the life and experiences of these talented musicians.
Our host today is William Crawford, a Lilly Theatre Company drum instructor and associate producer.
In this episode, we spend some time talking with Boston native - David Moore. Moore is an accomplished artist, painter, musician, and educator.
David Moore’s reputation is built on exhibitions of glowing reductive paintings that have a beautiful nuanced surface and intense mark making.
Moore's work is inspired by music and nature. His paintings combine repeated gestural abstraction and the energy of curvilinear structures.
