Arkansas State just leveled up its coaching staff with a major coup: NBA champion and NCAA title-winning guard Corey Brewer joins as an assistant coach. After six seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans — where he helped build elite defensive units — Brewer brings championship DNA, deep NBA experience, and a proven winning mentality to Jonesboro. His connection to head coach Ryan Pannone, forged during their time together in New Orleans, adds a layer of trust and shared vision. With a decorated playing career that includes a 51-point game, two college titles, and an NBA ring, Brewer isn’t just joining — he’s elevating the Red Wolves’ ambitions.
