Eight years ago Leon Hart was working at Euro Car Parts, driving to Manchester after his shift for viewings and sleeping on horrible mattresses at weekends so he and his brother Kyle could paint student houses.

Now the Hart brothers develop and own HMOs across the North West and fund them with private investor money. In this episode Leon explains how he got out of rent-to-rent, the daily posting habit that raised investor finance on and why he actually welcomes Article 4. He also talks honestly about the other side of it: £1.5m of bridging loans.
