We pick up on the second to last chapter in Jonathan Tabith's saga upon the planet of Aallandranon. Jonathan's disposition with the leaders of the Aallandron government breaks down as King Cerveys Narcuss issues a declaration of war against the invading human populace upon their planet. Jimsen Crysies and Damius Marks hatch a plan to keep Jonathan at bay once and for all. It doesn't get any darker than this for the podcast as old enemies and old friends resurface—some to say goodbye once and for all.

Madison's experience with the ring becomes further complicated as she learns that it does much more than she was led to believe. Jeremy Taylor and his archaeologist podcast friend, Peter Jones, help her uncover a secret that's been buried for over 10,000 years. The ring allows the wearer full access to an ancient technology that's been lost to the ages, but she's about to discover that access comes at a price.

Do you ever feel like you're living the same day over and over again? Every three years our University of the Seven Suns along with hundreds of other psionic schools from across the Eternium compete in a giant resource contest within the ringworlds surrounding the Dyson Sphere of Partikan. It was pretty fun until I started waking up at the beginning of the contest without knowing why. No one else seemed to know what I was talking about so I was on my own in figuring out how to break the cycle. The truth turned out to be more sinister and dangerous than I ever would have imagined.
