  • Menstrual Equity by 2031 - Rochelle Courtenay on the future we’re fighting for
    2026/05/27

In this episode of Another Bloody Podcast, Share the Dignity founder Rochelle Courtenay swaps seats and steps into the guest chair, interviewed by Share the Dignity’s Marketing, Advocacy and Communications Manager, Sarah Shatunde, for a candid conversation about the future of menstrual equity in Australia.

Together, they unpack Share the Dignity’s bold new mission to achieve menstrual equity by 2031 and what it will take to get there. From the findings of the Bloody Big Survey to advocacy across schools, workplaces, sport and public spaces, Rochelle shares the realities still facing women, girls and people who menstruate, and the practical changes needed to ensure period products are as accessible as toilet paper.

This episode is both a reflection on how far we’ve come and a rallying cry for what comes next.

Because menstrual equity isn’t just about products. It’s about dignity, participation and creating a future where no one is held back because of their period.

  • From survival to giving back: Caitlin’s full circle story
    2026/04/27

In this episode of Another Bloody Podcast, Share the Dignity founder Rochelle Courtenay sits down with Caitlin, an It’s in the Bag recipient whose story is a powerful reminder of the impact a single donation can have.

In her early twenties, Caitlin was navigating youth homelessness and mental health challenges when she received a bag filled with everyday essentials. At a time when everything felt uncertain, that simple act of kindness made her feel seen, supported, and not alone.

Caitlin shares what it meant to receive the bag during one of the most difficult periods of her life, and how that moment has stayed with her for years. From struggling to access basic essentials to now building a stable home, career and family, her journey is one of resilience, growth and hope.
Now a Youth Worker and volunteer with Share the Dignity, Caitlin’s story has come full circle. She reflects on the importance of giving back, and how supporting others has become a meaningful part of her own healing.

Because behind every donated bag is a person, and sometimes, that small act of kindness can change the course of a life.

  • Spiritually Strong – Carol Vale on dignity and culture
    2026/03/27

In this episode of Another Bloody Podcast, Share the Dignity founder Rochelle Courtenay sits down with Carol Vale, proud Dungati woman and founder of Murawin, a First Nations-led consultancy driving change across culture, community and social impact.

Carol shares her experience growing up on an Aboriginal mission, where access to period products was limited and conversations around menstruation were guided by cultural practices and the concept of women’s business. Together, they explore the complexities of delivering period products into remote First Nations communities, the importance of cultural safety, and why access alone is not enough without education, trust and respect.

This conversation highlights the often-overlooked barriers faced by First Nations women and girls, from affordability and access to stigma and shame, and the critical role community-led solutions play in creating lasting change.Because true menstrual equity means ensuring every woman and girl can manage her period with dignity, in a way that respects her culture, her community, and her identity.
