  • It's A Southwest Sell-out: Roos v Eagles Pre Game Primer
    2025/06/06

Get fired up for this Sunday's game as we chat to West Coast Eagle and Dunsborough lad Reuben Ginbey, about if he'd chuck and old school footy bus moon on the drive down. Or if you're a Roos fan, Luke McDonald of the North Melbourne footy club joins us to get some tips on the region, so they really can feel like the home side. If want to hear all the action on the day, tune in on Triple M or the LiSTNR app from 1:20pm Sunday to hear our WA commentary team be a part of history.

As always we draw the curtain back in our podcasts about the magical world of regional radio, plus there's a cheeky story about getting locked in the garage at the end.

  • Jackie French - A Conversation on Hidden Homelessness & Hope
    2025/05/30

Beloved Australian author Jackie French took the time to share her experience being homeless as a teenager. It's a very raw and honest account of events that Jackie kept secret both at the time and throughout her life. We felt it was vital to include Jackie's story as she told it; a young girl who loved reading and writing, forced onto the street, determined to make it to university and a better life.

We thank Jackie for joining us in conversation this month as we highlight homelessness in our communities for Blanket to the Border.

WARNING: Some of this episode's content may be confronting and may not be suitable for young listeners.

  • One of Your Friends Could Be Homeless
    2025/05/16

And you wouldn't necessarily know. Our good mate and host of Rural Focus, Leah, has been homeless twice in her life and was kind enough to share her story. This month, if you could donate a new blanket as we Blanket to the Border for our communities, it would make a difference for a range of people doing it tough. Head online to triplem.listnr.com to find a drop off point.
There's also so many good things happening in our patch, as Nic Cage's the Surfer hits cinemas (it was filmed on our beaches) coinciding with the Margaret River Pro and Holly brings us the world's biggest fishing report across our two oceans.

  • Blankets, Popes, Mums and Bums
    2025/05/09

Did you know an Aussie threw their hat in the ring to become the next Pope? Leo XIV got the job, but our exclusive audio of the vetting process pre conclave shows who it could've gone to. Happy Mother's day by the way, hope your kids and partners are better organised than Michael. Hopefully your kids are better behaved than Angie, who spent her youth mooning traffic cameras. On something a bit more serious, we'd love if you could donate a new blanket as we try Blanket to the Border this May. Send some warmth and good will to those doing it tough from Binningup to the Border, just jump on the Triple M website and find your local drop-off spot in the SW, Albany and Esperance.

    2025/03/28

Ever wonder what it's like to guard the leader of Australia? Or maybe you're actually guilty of a crime you don't even know about? And why are there all these trucks in Perth? Michael & Angie tackle all these questions, as we talk cops coming to our sunny shores with Srgt Ben Woods of West Coast Cops (a new doco series on Channel 9) and tales of an AFP officer, who knows what a former PM was up to.
