  • Desperate People Do Desperate Things!
    2025/12/22

In this uplifting Christmas episode of the Angela Adkins Podcast, host Angela Adkins sits down with veteran evangelist and pastor Kay Osban to celebrate Jesus as the ultimate gift—bringing salvation, healing, hope, and abundant joy.

    Key Points:

The True Meaning of Christmas: Jesus came as Emmanuel ("God with us") to reveal God's heart of love, humility, and desire for relationship. He entered broken places to offer salvation, deliverance, and physical/emotional healing (John 10:10).

God With Us in Trials: His presence replaces isolation with supernatural peace, strength, and comfort during fear, sickness, loneliness, and grief (Isaiah 41:10; 1 Peter 5:7). Both host and guest share personal stories of God carrying them through accidents, loss of loved ones, and deep questioning.

    Biblical Healing Stories & Lessons:

Woman with the Issue of Blood: Desperate people do desperate things—she pressed through the crowd with simple faith ("If I touch His garment..."). Key: Determination, tenacity, and refusing to give a sob story; just reach out in faith.

Jairus' Daughter: Believe past bad news ("Only believe"). Choose God's report over doctors' or circumstances'.

Canaanite Woman: Persistence even when God seems silent or says "no"—great faith moves Him.

Paralyzed Man Lowered Through Roof: Power of faith-filled friends who refuse obstacles; Jesus gives a "two-for-one" (forgiveness + healing). Reminder: Friends don't let friends go to hell—evangelize boldly.

Faith Over Doubt: Surround yourself with believers, speak life, protect your faith from negativity. Fill yourself with God's Word until there's "no room for cancer" (or doubt, sickness, fear).

    Real-Life Miracles Shared:

Instant healings (blindness reversed, tumors melting before doctors' eyes).

Cancer vanished with no trace or scar ("brand new heart").

Creative miracles (missing bone regrown without surgery).

Defying prognoses (wheelchair-bound to walking, infertility overcome).

God healing through doctors or instantly—always give Him first place.

  • Is God Really Good?
    2025/12/09

Do you ever wonder if God is really good?

It’s an honest question—especially today, when the world feels like it has flipped completely upside down. Right is mocked, wrong is celebrated, and confusion seems to reign everywhere. As people argue online, celebrate division, or even rejoice over someone’s passing, it’s easy to look around and think:

“Where is God in all of this?”

But Scripture reminds us that what we see is not the full story. Isaiah 5:20 speaks directly to the moment we’re living in:

“What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil,
that dark is light and light is dark,
that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.”

Even in a world full of chaos, God’s goodness has not changed—and He is still working behind the scenes in ways we do not always see.
