Legendary actor Andrew Divoff, best known for bringing the Djinn to life in "Wishmaster" and "Wishmaster 2," joins the I Love Horror Podcast! We talk about his acting process, how he landed his iconic role, and behind-the-scenes stories from the original "Wishmaster," along with the creative pursuits that keep him inspired outside of acting. And, of course, we get to the question every guest has to answer: "Why do you love horror?

Things naturally take a few detours. We discuss why more people need to give black-and-white horror movies a chance, discover our shared love of Egyptian lore, and dig into Andrew's favorite deaths from his top three horror movies—because a favorite movie is one thing. Still, a favorite death deserves its own conversation. Andrew also shares fond memories of working alongside the first "Wishmaster" film's incredible lineup of horror legends, and we take a moment to remember Tony Todd and Reggie Bannister.

It's a conversation full of movie memories, heartfelt reflection, behind-the-scenes stories, and the enthusiasm that comes from getting two horror fans together with microphones. Come for the "Wishmaster" stories; stay for the detours, the laughs, and a few more reasons to revisit your favorite horror films.
