God isn’t only present in the mountaintops. He meets us in the dishes, the errands, the work, the waiting, and the everyday choices to stay close to Him.

What if slowing down isn't falling behind, but making room for God to lead?

In Episode 2 of Jesus Girl Summer, we go deeper into the invitation to live at a different pace—the pace of Jesus. In a world that constantly tells us to hustle, achieve, stay busy, and keep up, God invites us into something radically different: rest, retreat, and relationship.

This episode explores what happens when we intentionally step away from the noise and create space to hear God's voice. Sometimes we don't need another strategy, another opportunity, or another five-step plan. Sometimes we simply need to get quiet enough to listen.

We talk about the difference between resting in God and running from God, and how retreating can become a spiritual practice rather than an escape. When we make space for prayer, silence, Scripture, and stillness, we become more attentive to the Holy Spirit's gentle guidance.

But listening requires surrender. The Holy Spirit may lead us somewhere we didn't expect. He may ask us to wait when we want to move, release something we've been holding onto, or slow down when everything in us wants to speed up. Learning to recognize His leading requires cultivating a life that isn't so full of noise that we can't hear.

We also explore Sabbath as an act of trust. Sabbath reminds us that our worth isn't determined by our productivity and that the world will keep turning even when we stop. Rest becomes a declaration that God is our provider—not our hustle, our accomplishments, our plans, or our ability to control outcomes.

This episode is an invitation to stop asking, “What am I supposed to be accomplishing right now?” and begin asking:

“Jesus, where are You inviting me to slow down, listen, and follow?”

Maybe this season isn't about doing more.

Maybe it's about being with Him more.

Maybe the breakthrough isn't found in another thing to pursue, but in the courage to become still enough to receive what God is already saying.

Hola Amiga! What if this season isn’t about keeping up with the world, but keeping in step with Jesus?

In this episode, we’re talking about what it looks like to live every season like a Jesus girl—not just when life feels exciting, successful, or Instagram-worthy, but in the waiting, the growing, the ordinary, and the unknown. Summer can come with so many expectations: where we should be, what we should be doing, how our lives should look, and what everyone else seems to have figured out.

But Jesus never called us to compare our lives to the people around us. He calls us to follow Him.

“Jesus Girl Summer” is an invitation to release comparison, stop measuring your season against someone else’s timeline, and embrace what God is doing right here, right now. Whether you’re in a season of adventure, rest, preparation, heartbreak, growth, or simply figuring it out, there is purpose in it.

Your life doesn’t have to look like the rest of the world’s to be beautiful. You don’t have to chase what everyone else is chasing. You can live differently, love differently, and walk confidently in the season Jesus has given you.

This summer—and every season after it—let’s choose Jesus over comparison, purpose over pressure, and presence over perfection.

Because the goal isn’t to have the best season. It’s to live every season with Jesus.
