概要
A lineman saw an amber light pulsing inside a padlocked adobe assay office with no electricity, and his photograph set off a chain of expert examinations that revealed a warm cavity thirty-one feet beneath the floor. Who-or what-could produce a slow, breathing amber glow in a sealed building whose interior inventory was unchanged for decades?
In this episode, we follow the timeline from the February seventh sighting through official entries, field surveys, and technical imaging to trace what was observed at Porden Flat and what was discovered beneath the adobe floor. What does the photograph, the unchanged reagent bottle, and the thermal anomaly thirty-one feet down together imply?
Person: Clifford Crawford
Date: February 7
Location: Porden Flat, northeast of Tucson
Person: Deputy Marcus Feld
Person: Raymond Berry
Person: Dawn Williams
- Crawford photographed a pulsing amber light at 7:40 AM on February 7 and estimated he watched it for four to five minutes.
- The assay office measures 22 feet by 30 feet with 24-inch-thick adobe walls and interior recorded at 51 degrees Fahrenheit when opened.
- The amber-brown glass-stoppered reagent bottle was documented in the northwest corner in 2001, 2009, and 2014, but was found centered on the bench after the February incident.
- Deputy Marcus Feld arrived about forty minutes after the light was last visible, opened the padlocked door with the assessor's key, found no lamp or electrical fixture, photographed and re-secured the building with no sign of tampering.
- Ground-penetrating radar and thermal imaging conducted on February 14 revealed a cavity approximately 31 feet below the floor, about 12 feet across, with something producing warmth.
