Founded in 2016 following the steel crisis, San Portablo was born when Nigel lost his job at the steelworks and decided to turn a difficult situation into something positive.

What began with a few T-shirt designs has grown into a distinctive Welsh streetwear brand, inspired by industrial heritage, football, music, art and the unmistakable humour of South Wales.

Alongside Nigel is Mike 'Pancho' Locke, best known for his outrageous appearances in MTV's cult television series Dirty Sanchez. A skateboarder, entrepreneur and creative personality, Pancho brings his own experiences and unmistakable character to the San Portablo story.

Together, they've built something that represents far more than clothing. It's about community, belonging, creativity and being proud of where you come from.
