The Montreal Alouettes sit dead last in the CFL East Division with a 5-13 record following the firing of head coach Gary Sherman and the permanent banishment of quarterback Johnny Manziel. This episode breaks down their elimination from playoff contention, analyzes the offensive line failures that led to five sacks against Winnipeg, and discusses Geno Lewis's potential role amidst the organizational chaos.

We examine the team's strengths, including Geno Lewis's explosive playmaking on trick plays like the 61-yard touchdown to George Johnson, and identify critical question marks regarding quarterback stability and roster continuity. The hosts discuss the likelihood of further trades or releases of key rotational players before the season ends.

Our final season outlook predicts the Alouettes will finish with three or four wins, marking a total collapse of the 2026 campaign. We also touch on the cultural impact of the coaching change and what it means for the franchise's rebuilding efforts in the upcoming offseason.

In this episode: Division Standing & Elimination · Strengths & Question Marks · Season Outlook & Projections.
