A tent cut from the inside. Footprints leading into the snow. Nine hikers dead, radioactive clothing, and reports of strange lights over the Ural Mountains. We’re continuing spooky mountain season with the Dyatlov Pass incident, and we’ve got very different thoughts about what happened.

We follow the 1959 expedition through the hikers’ photographs and diaries, then examine the discoveries at the abandoned campsite, the cedar tree, and the ravine. We get into the severe injuries, the disputed Frame 34 photograph, a Yeti attack, and theories involving secret Soviet weapons tests. We also explore the official avalanche explanation and modern snow-slab research before debating military involvement, extreme weather, and the decisions that could have led to the tragedy.

Along the way, we share a real-life fire department visit, read fan mail from a U.S. Air Force veteran, and reflect on how nearly fifty episodes have shaped our beliefs about aliens, UFOs, and disclosure.

What’s hiding inside Mount Shasta? According to the legends: a lost civilization, a five-level underground city called Telos, and maybe some ten-foot-tall mummies.

We get into the stories of J. C. Brown’s vanished expedition, the Lemurians beneath the mountain, an astronomer’s suspiciously famous telescope sighting, and Guy Ballard’s encounter with Saint Germain—a claim that helped launch the I AM movement and eventually reached the Supreme Court. Along the way, there's Bigfoot reports, a strange light above Castle Lake, the disappearance of hiker Carl Landers, and the deeply unsettling “Robot Grandma.”

Then there’s the fact that someone really did dig a 60-foot hole into Mount Shasta. Who paid for it, and what were they hoping to find?

Two men report an alien abduction. The sheriff suspects a prank. Then he leaves them alone with a hidden tape recorder and the conversation doesn’t go as expected.

Josh and Travis are discussing the 1973 Pascagoula alien abduction, where Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker claimed a fishing trip ended aboard a hovering UFO.

We follow the encounter from the riverbank to the sheriff’s office, unpacking the secret police recording, reported puncture marks, polygraph testing, and hypnosis sessions that made this case a lasting fixture of UFO history. Along the way, we get into J. Allen Hynek’s involvement, skeptical explanations involving trauma and memory, and the question that keeps coming up: does believing these men were terrified mean believing they were abducted by aliens?

Then there’s life afterward: decades of unwanted attention, Calvin Parker’s eventual decision to tell his story, and Charles Hickson’s claims of further contact—including a mysterious “message stone.” Some details move the needle. Others move it right back.

What’s your verdict on Pascagoula? Share your theory and leave a review. And if you’ve read either man’s book, we want to hear from you.
