  • July 2026 UAP News Roundup: AARO, NDA Waivers and Disclosure Legislation
    2026/08/07

July 2026 brought new government records, a delayed AARO report, scientific initiatives and potentially important movement on UAP disclosure legislation.

In this episode, Stu examines the month’s major developments, including AARO’s latest annual report, the extraordinary account of approximately 100 airborne UAP off the Virginia coast, the UAP Science Advisory Council chaired by Avi Loeb, the reported nondisclosure-agreement waiver and the House adoption of a new UAP disclosure framework.

We also briefly revisit the fourth PURSUE records release and consider continuing allegations involving private aerospace contractors.

July did not produce publicly verifiable evidence of extraterrestrial craft or reverse-engineering programmes. However, it may have expanded the processes through which government records, testimony and physical evidence could eventually be examined.

Did the month bring us closer to meaningful disclosure—or merely add another layer of bureaucracy to the subject?

  • UFOs for Beginners Part 1 | What Is Disclosure?
    2026/07/24

What does “disclosure” actually mean—and would we recognise it if it happened?

In the first instalment of UFOs for Beginners, Stu Jackson and Neil Kelly unpack one of the most commonly used and frequently misunderstood words in ufology.

Does disclosure mean the release of classified documents? An official admission that some sightings remain unexplained? Evidence of technology beyond known human capabilities? Recovered materials, crashed craft, non-human bodies—or direct communication with another intelligence?

Stu outlines eight possible levels of disclosure, while Neil asks what evidence would genuinely be convincing and whether any government announcement could ever satisfy those who believe more information is being withheld.

The discussion also explores catastrophic versus controlled disclosure, scientific peer review, national security, government secrecy, public trust, ontological shock and how confirmation of non-human intelligence might affect everyday life.

This series is designed for anyone who is new to UFOs and UAPs, curious about the subject or looking for a clear introduction without either ridicule or unquestioning belief.

Spoiler notice: This episode contains some discussion of plot elements from the film Disclosure Day.

What would disclosure mean to you—and how would you react if it happened tomorrow?

  • Breaking News: Trump's UAP NDA Directive Explained
    2026/07/23

Donald Trump has reportedly directed that former government personnel should be able to seek waivers for UAP-related non-disclosure agreements through authorised government channels.

But does this really mean "all the NDAs have been waived"?

Stu and Neil separate fact from headline, discussing what has actually been reported, how AARO and PURSUE could be affected, why many whistleblowers may still remain cautious, and whether this marks another genuine step towards disclosure.

  • PURSUE Tranche 4: Does the New UAP Evidence Move the Needle?
    2026/07/17

The fourth tranche of files released through PURSUE includes videos, images, audio recordings and historical documents—but does any of it bring us closer to understanding the UAP phenomenon?

Stu and Neil debate reports involving nuclear facilities, objects apparently responding to observers, intelligence assessments dating back to 1949 and the growing involvement of government departments previously associated with secrecy surrounding UFOs.

Stu argues that the releases represent a slow and carefully managed shift towards disclosure. Neil asks whether the public is simply being shown more ambiguous objects and lights without enough context to reach any meaningful conclusions.

The discussion also explores government redactions, alleged disinformation campaigns, the stigma faced by witnesses, possible reverse-engineering programmes and the evidence that would be required to establish that something genuinely non-human is operating in our skies.

Finally, Stu and Neil answer listener questions about scepticism, confirmation bias and how ordinary life might change if extraterrestrial intelligence were officially confirmed.

Does PURSUE Tranche 4 move the needle—or is it another UAP nothing burger?

  • Police UFO Witnesses with Roy Teague
    2026/07/10

This week on Aliens Explored, Stu and Neil are joined by serving police inspector and author Roy Teague to discuss his new book, Close Encounters of the Police Kind: Incredible True Stories of UFO Sightings by British Police Officers. Get your copy at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0H5WH1F8X

Roy explains how he gathered accounts from more than 250 serving and former police officers, why police witnesses may bring a different kind of credibility to the UFO subject, and why many officers have historically been reluctant to speak publicly about what they have seen.

The conversation covers UFOs, UAPs, missing time, alleged abduction experiences, reports involving police vehicles and aircraft, and the wider question of whether the subject is finally beginning to receive the serious attention it deserves. • Neil Responds to The PURSUE UFO Files
    2026/06/26

Neil has responded to Stu’s breakdown of the PURSUE UFO files — and, as expected, he has questions.

In this episode of Aliens Explored, Stu and Neil go case by case through some of the most interesting items in the PURSUE UAP releases, including the Western US case cluster, the apparent transmedium submarine-related case, the Lake Huron shootdown footage, ODNI witness material, Sandia Base reports from 1948–1950, and FBI UAP files involving civilian footage.

Neil asks whether some of these files are genuinely significant, whether the government is simply taking them seriously because it has to, whether the FBI may be padding out the archive, and whether these releases are really preparing the ground for Disclosure — or whether this is all the evidence there is.

Stu responds throughout, arguing that while the files do not prove aliens or non-human intelligence, they do mark a major shift in the public acknowledgement of unexplained phenomena.

    Not proof.

    But not nothing.
