What happens when corporate life becomes so absurd that satire struggles to keep up?

Agentic is an original comedy musical podcast about AI, software engineering, product management, corporate politics and the wonderfully irrational world of modern work.

Follow Alex, an AI Engineer who joins an exciting new company expecting innovation, purpose and intelligent decision-making. Instead, he discovers an ecosystem of three-letter acronyms, strategic pivots, buzzword bingo, return-to-office mandates, executive optimism and just enough AI to make everyone dangerously productive.

Each chapter combines original songs, cinematic dialogue and a cast of unforgettable workplace characters to tell a story that feels suspiciously familiar. If you've ever sat through a meeting wondering whether everyone else understood what was just said... this musical is for you.

From Token Minning and TLA to Career Limiting, Two Handbooks and Dead Curiosity, every song explores a different species of organisational behaviour with humour, heart and just enough truth to make you slightly uncomfortable.

Whether you're an engineer, product manager, designer, executive, consultant or simply someone who's ever been told to "take it offline", you'll probably recognise yourself... or at least someone you work with.

The songs are fictional.

The characters are fictional.

The meetings...

...are unfortunately based on extensive field research.

So grab your headphones, suspend your disbelief and prepare for a workplace where the line between satire and reality is almost impossible to find.

Disclaimer

This musical may or may not have been uninspired by true events.

Any resemblance to real companies, projects, executives, engineers, product managers, project managers, HR professionals, consultants, AI evangelists, thought leaders, LinkedIn influencers, account managers, agile coaches, transformation specialists or people who insist "it's pronounced Jira" is entirely coincidental, statistically inevitable, and probably worth reflecting on.

No animals were harmed in the making of this satire. Not even humans. Egos..? That's a different question.

AI was used prolifically, exhaustively and copiously throughout the creation of this production. Mostly because it never once complained about another meeting. Some of the humans, however, came very close.

This production contains sustained exposure to satire, sarcasm, irony, cynicism, optimism, executive optimism, corporate jargon, three-letter acronyms, organisational politics and occasional outbreaks of common sense.

Viewer discretion is advised. Not recommended for:

  • People currently "taking this offline."

  • Anyone who has recently said, "Let's socialise this."

  • Executives who describe redundancies as "right-sizing."

  • People who think a dashboard is the same thing as progress.

  • Those who confuse confidence with competence.

  • Anyone who has ever replied, "As per my previous email..."

  • Individuals who identify as AI-first thought leaders before breakfast.

  • People unable to distinguish satire from quarterly strategy.

  • Anyone whose KPI is "AI adoption at all costs."

  • Managers who accidentally joined the meeting twenty-five minutes late and immediately diagnosed the wrong problem.

  • People with an allergy to self-awareness.

If at any point you find yourself thinking,

"Wait... I know someone exactly like that..."

...please remember...

That's entirely your conclusion.

Not ours.

Enjoy the show.

Or, if you prefer...

Leverage the experience.

    2026/08/02

We end where we began, dear listener: the same hall, the same chairs. They remember you. They have missed you. And a familiar meeting, with a new name on the running order.

One last all-hands. One last journey. A company that can now produce anything, faster than anyone can ask whether it should.

And one final question, which I leave with you, since you have sat so patiently through all seventeen moons: if everyone stops thinking... who will be left to judge what is worth doing?

  • Chapter 16 - Promotion
    2026/08/02

Congratulations are in order, dear listener. The kingdom needs someone to lead the next phase, and it has found him. Credible with the floor, fluent with the top, trusted by absolutely everyone.

Which is, of course, precisely the problem.

Tonight: an announcement at nine a.m. sharp, two men who each believed it would be them, and a title that comes with rather more paperwork than titles used to. Some gifts arrive pre-addressed.

  • Chapter 15 - BAU
    2026/08/02

Time has passed, dear listener, and nothing is wrong. Nothing, anywhere, is wrong. That is the strange part.

The tools are everywhere now. In the mail, in the meetings, and somewhere altogether closer than that. Tonight the kingdom unveils its boldest idea yet about what to build when building costs nothing.

The kingdom has never produced more. Of what, nobody asks.
