    We spent seven nights sailing Alaska aboard Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady, and this cruise felt very different from our previous Virgin experience in the Caribbean.In Episode 54, we’re talking about the ship itself and what it was actually like to experience Virgin Voyages in Alaska. We get into our Sea Terrace cabins, embarkation in Seattle, dining, entertainment, Scarlet Night, Glacier Day, wildlife spotting, and the little things Brilliant Lady does differently.There were some fantastic meals, a few food misses, dinners that lasted longer than we expected, one very useful naturalist, a whole lot of blankets, and a moment when Meg opened the curtains and suddenly there were humpback whales and dolphins everywhere.Plus, we share a couple of things we wish we had known before disembarkation.Would we sail Brilliant Lady again?Absolutely.Would we do Alaska again?That answer might be even more enthusiastic.Next episode, we’ll get off the ship and talk about Ketchikan, Sitka, Prince Rupert, and the excursions we chose.
