Welcome to June 2026! We are back with a new mini-podcast. For the next few podcasts we will focus on encouraging those who are new to running / exercising. Now is the time to start your journey. I'll share a quick life story of what I went through when I started. 10k miles and 15 years later I am grateful to share that exercising consistently and incorporating prayer changed my life for the better. Join me as I discuss the importance of dedicating every exercise event to God. For those that have been running and praying already, we hope that you will tune in to be reminded of the importance of staying persistent in consistently exercising and praying.

Mom was a wonderful and amazing women and her life here was short, but our family was so grateful for the time we had with her and also with my lovely little sister. My Mom and sisters death still hit hard even though its been over 30 years ago. We all have dealt or will deal with losing a loved one and its most difficult to navigate through the devastating time especially early on.

Through it all we must persevere and lean on our faith in Jesus for His strength, peace and comfort to get us through. My heart breaks for those I see turning away from the Lord when this happens. A very close family member who gave me one of my favorite bibles turned away from her faith and it was because of someone she loved passing away. This was tough to deal with as well.

Now here's the good news! There is hope in the Lord and when we trust Him we can once again proclaim to count it all JOY. Our life here is temporary. Let's remember what we are aiming for...Eternal Victory through amazing grace and our Salvation in Jesus Christ.

I hope this very personal testimony builds up your faith as my faith continues to increase because God always shows me the road to victory no matter the circumstance. When I look back at a difficult time, I realize that I was never alone dealing with these crushing blows. As a friend told me today, God is always with us on the mountain and in the valley.

The key word is ALWAYS. As we grow older, we mature and learn many valuable lessons in life. I know many times when I reflect, I often ask the question “why did I do that or why did I go through that. We do some evaluation and learn from our mistakes or setbacks. Many times we struggle to find answers and at those time we should give those burdens to the Lord.

Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;

He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22

As we go through seasons of life its important to share these life messages to all that we engage with. We will have wisdom, a testimony and encouragement to share at the right moment to the person in need that may need to hear it.

To those struggling with aging or feeling depressed or discouraged, we say look to the Lord for His grace and overwhelming blessing to be poured in to your life. We believe that God loves each and every one of you and seeks to bring healing, peace and grace to your life.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34

Mark Twain wrote: “Do not complain about growing old. It is a privilege denied to many.”
