  • From Fish Fins to Tap Shoes: Finding Nemo Jr. & Singin’ in the Rain Hit the Granbury Stage!
    2025/07/18

AUGTC S2 E12: 🎭✨ Dive behind the curtain in this heartwarming and hilarious episode of Acting Up with GTC, where hosts Micky Shearon and Matt Beutner welcome the talented young performers of Finding Nemo Jr. AND the dazzling adult cast of Singin’ in the Rain—two must-see productions at the historic Granbury Opera House!

🐟 First up, meet the double-cast stars of our Academy production of Finding Nemo Jr.—adorable, whip-smart young actors who prove age is just a number when it comes to stealing the spotlight. They’re working hard, making waves (literally), and yes, one of them is rocking a “Nemo boot” after a heroic foot injury.

💃 Then we sit down with four phenomenal performers from the upcoming five-week run of Singin’ in the Rain to chat about tap shoes, rain in the Opera House, comedic timing, and the sheer joy (and sweat!) of putting on a golden-age musical masterpiece.

👠 Spoiler alert: there will be pie-to-the-face, impromptu fish species recitations, and emotional theater goals involving onions.

🎟️ Don’t miss this episode—and definitely don’t miss these shows. Double casts mean double the reasons to buy tickets. Come twice. Laugh twice. Cry (happy tears) twice.
