Hey friend! I’m Riley- a wife, Frenchie fur mom, caffeine addict and Bible teacher who has been in the fiery furnace for so much of my life I’ve gotten pretty comfortable here.haha

When health issues, emotional trauma, family arguments and financial stress came, I consistently found myself reacting emotionally, searching for a worldly solution, or seeking comfort in the hard season through all sorts of distractions….

But in Daniel 3, when Sharach, Meshasch and Abednego refused to bow to anything “less than” God, they were thrown in a furnace, set 7 times higher than usual, and they survived (and actually walked away with a deeper, more rooted peace) by focusing on Jesus Himself not trying to quiet, strategize or organize the flames around them.

I knew I needed to do the same because the solution to an overwhelming season of hardship, confusion and pain is and always will be Jesus Christ our Savior.

I began to dig deep into the Bible and found a deeper love and desire for Christ. And in God’s abundance of grace, that led me to have more resilience, joy & peace in the midst of any suffering I was experiencing.
