David Mirković had the opportunity to play for Montenegro this summer.

Instead, he made a decision that says everything about his mindset heading into the 2026-27 season.

Brad Underwood revealed why Illinois' sophomore star stayed in Champaign, and it could be the biggest reason Illini fans should believe this team is capable of another Final Four run.

Plus, Illinois adds another defensive back to its 2027 recruiting class as Bret Bielema continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail.

Do you think David Mirković will be an All-American this season? Let me know in the comments!
