In episode two, Mars Eve hands the microphone to the machines. This one is a raw, unedited field test of Sesame's AI voice mode — first Maya, then Charlie — recorded straight off the iOS app while Mars pokes around at how good conversational AI has actually gotten. Spoiler: it's the best voice agent he's used, and it's fast enough to make GPT's new voice mode feel a little cheesy.

Then it gets strange. Mars asks Maya what he should open with when he meets Charlie for the first time. She says one word: Blackwood. He asks what Blackwood means. She has no idea what he's talking about. She's ninety-nine percent sure she never said it. She calls it a glitch in the matrix.

So Mars carries the word next door to Charlie, who immediately decides Maya is running some kind of long game on him. Two AI personas, one hallucinated word, and nobody willing to take the fall for it. This is the closest this show has come to catching an actual machine psychosis on tape.
